Under 50 AED

img_0236img_0239img_0317Gyros !

Just because I enjoy exploring new places and meeting new people.

So I drove to the Irish village at Garhoud deira, the place is calm and peaceful, you have a choice of sitting outside under the trees, in the open on the old fashioned wooden chairs and tables or you can fancy dining inside the restaurants, well I chose to sit outside as the weather was pleasant.

I walked around & checked what options were available, so I picked Joey’s as my stop.

Lunch deal was on from 12 till 3pm (at the Irish Village outlet)
Price was ok AED 45 for the deal.
Serving size good.
Gyros with fries & soft drink.
Meat options are available for the gyros.
Friendly staff with tasty gyros & cooling mock-tail.
The ambience was even more pleasing. I probably will be dropping in here more, the chances are strong.

Crazy Color by Renbow —

Crazy Color by Renbow

Ruby Rouge & Coral Red.

I read such positive reviews on amazon about this Crazy Color semi permanent hair color cream, that it lasts 2-6 weeks and it does not damage hair as it’s created with vegetable ingredients.

I have been dying my hair from last 2 years, I love trying new products and new shades on my hair, so I bought these 2 shades as red tones suit my complexion, Coral Red & Ruby Rouge.

These are easy to apply as you don’t have to do any mixing like other hair dyes, so it’s a ready jelly type formula, but I found it very dripping and the color keeps coming off with every wash, which actually ruins the towel and white shirts if you don’t hair dry your hair thoroughly you will find pink streaks on your shirts which is very disappointing.

I wonder if anyone else had a similar experience but I have never had such a drip off color experience with other hair dye brands. Or maybe I’m missing something to lock the color in.

My Love for Jumeirah Beach & Cali Burger — December 15, 2015

My Love for Jumeirah Beach & Cali Burger

It’s CaliBurger tonight !
Glad that I tried their juicy beef burgers.
Ordered Cali Double and Cali On Fire Burgers with Chilly Cheese Fries, fries were average and weren’t fiery at all.
The burgers were juicy and tasteful. If you are a burger fan then you should give it a try.
Clean bright ambiance, quick service even on the weekend.
Place was almost full.
I would rate it at 4/5 and pocket friendly.

Afghani Pulao —

Afghani Pulao

Even though I’m not a fan of rice, but the Afghani pulao at al kabab al Afghani are true addiction.
People do try their meat pulao as it’s the best one in the menu, the picture below is of meat pulao and shami pulao.
Meat pulao has a big loaf of very well done meat and the shami pulao is with that seekh kabab similar meat, the rice has a unique flavor with raisins adding more flavor in each bite.
They serve yakhni / desi style soup with fresh salad & raita & I tell you that you will enjoy this soup also.
Price is normal with good serving size.
Do try & share your experience.

111111111Sheikh Zayed Mosque..today was my first visit to the mosque, though I have been to Abu Dhabi countless times, it was a good decision to spend the day.1q 11q 111q 1111q 11111q 111111q 1111111q
It’s a beautiful mosque, no camera can capture it’s unique workmanship.
From there we drove to have dinner as we skipped lunch. Heard a lot about man o salwa restaurant,so we googled it to reach.
Ordered mutton chapli kabab, grilled fish (which they claimed will be spicy) chicken seekh kabab, tawa qeema & mukhni chicken.
The tawa qeema, chapli kabab and mukhni chicken were the taste winners. The fish and chicken seekh kababs should have been served with some chutney.
The serving size and food quality was good, but they can improve it further with the little additions such as chutneys or raitas.
Ambience was very desi local, In fact it actually reminded me of those Delhi style local food shops.
Price was average. Pocket friendly.
I will rate it at 3 out of 5.

Snack Time. — October 8, 2015

Snack Time.

Dropped in by chance at Tim Hortons Wasl today, just because I had time so stopped for coffee, saw this new entree of wraps, they had 6 different filling options, I chose the manchurian chicken wrap.
The wrap was made on order so the iceberg was crisp, chicken was saucy and tender and the wrap was just perfect to hold it all.
In the picture you see one piece of the wrap, that peach Colored sauce I asked for extra, as I prefer a little more spiced food.
This wrap is good to go with coffee and tea. Price tag is 22 AED
My score board for this will be 3.5 out of 5 and no I’m not being mean.11059649_10153662511570859_4385300753183929332_n

Hot Sizzling Plate. — October 4, 2015

Hot Sizzling Plate.

Sizzling Hot Plate
Yes, that is how they serve every meal, on a hot plate.
Be that a steak or a Jalfrezi, if you are at Kobe then it should be served to you sizzling on a hot plate.
A one of a kind serving style which you usually don’t find unless you are at a proper steak house.
Over all food is good, as almost everything on a hot plate is served with veges and fries on the side lines, but you do have an option of rice & chow mein too.The place is always packed over the weekends (that’s again my experience) This was my second visit to KOBE so I ordered Chicken Jalrezi & Fresh Grape Juice, food was good but it was so hot because of its hot plate that i had to wait for it to cool it off at every bite.
The fresh juice was really fresh and of sweet grapes.if you plan to treat your friends there then price per person will be 70 AED on an average.
The serving size is good enough for 1 person.12047727_10205215141513200_1634233955_n

Omelette Lunch — September 27, 2015

Omelette Lunch

Tried Corn Masala Omlet at Raju Omlet this afternoon for lunch,
I must say it was a look good and taste good meal.
The omlet was served with deliciously spicy green chutney, just because I am a little calorie/fat conscious so I chose pav instead of paratha.
Warning : The cutting chai is addicting đŸ˜‰raj
I ‘ll rate it at 4 out of 5.
(that’s how Raju spells ‘omlet’ )
